Dr Kevin Ho

MBBS, FRANZCR, EBIR

Kevin is a medical graduate from the University of Western Australia, and completed his radiology specialty training with the WA Radiology Training Program. Following this training, he completed body imaging and interventional radiology fellowships with the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and McGill University in Montreal. On return to Perth in 2014, he joined Perth Radiological Clinic. Kevin also holds a post at Fiona Stanley Hospital as an interventional radiologist. He has a passion for all aspects of interventional radiology, and an interest in new and emerging techniques such as prostate artery embolization. He holds the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR) qualification with the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE), and was co-convenor at the 2017 RANZCR Annual Scientific Meeting. Kevin’s speciality areas include abdominal and pelvic imaging, oncological imaging including prostate MRI, vascular imaging, and interventional radiology

Dr Martin Marshall

Martin graduated from the University of Cape Town, South Africa in 1988 and completed his radiological training at the Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town in 1996. In 1997, Martin moved to Western Australia to take up a consultant radiologist position at Royal Perth Hospital. In 2004, he joined Perth Radiological Clinic and he is currently the managing partner at Perth Radiological Clinic’s Joondalup Health Campus Branch. Martin has numerous professional appointments and scientific presentations to his name. His key speciality areas include abdominal and genito-urinary imaging, vascular imaging, and general interventional radiology.

Philip graduated from Auckland Medical School in 1998 and commenced his radiology training in 2000 with the RANZCR Diagnostic Imaging Training Scheme in Auckland. He completed his radiology training in 2005 and commenced a year-long fellowship in body and interventional imaging at Royal Perth Hospital that same year. From 2006 to 2007 he was a medical officer with the New Zealand Army Provincial Reconstruction team in Afghanistan. In 2007 he became a consultant radiologist at Royal Perth Hospital. Philip also joined SKG radiology that year, becoming Clinical Director of Murdoch Hospital in 2012. From 2008 until 2012, Philip was Chair of the WA branch of the RANZCR. In 2016, Philip joined Perth Radiological Clinic. Philips’s speciality areas include all aspects of body, interventional and oncological imaging with a special interest in liver, biliary, pancreatic, renal, prostate, perineal and female pelvic MRI. He also performs subcutaneous and deep organ biopsies of the lung, liver, renal and lymph nodes.

Dr Basil Sclanders

Dr Basil Sclanders

Basil graduated from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa in 2002. He completed his radiology training at the University of Witwatersrand in 2009 obtaining Fellowship of the College of Diagnostic Radiology, South Africa that same year. In 2010, he worked as a consultant radiologist at the Royal Free Hospital, Hampstead, London, a lead centre for hepatobiliary imaging and neuroendocrine tumours. In 2011, he commenced fellowship training in oncology imaging including MRI and CT at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London. This included being part of a seminal study of MRI in rectal cancer (Mercury II), and he obtained Fellowship of the College of Radiology (UK) that same year. He relocated to Western Australia and joined Perth Radiological Clinic in 2013. Basil’s key speciality is oncology imaging, specifically hepatobiliary, colorectal, urological and gynaecological imaging.

Stephen graduated from the University of Western Australia’s Medical School in 2006. He commenced his radiology training in the WA Radiology Training Scheme is 2010. At the end of 2015 he completed his training and gained FRANZCR. He completed a fellowship in body imaging at Auckland City Hospital in 2016. He returned to Perth in early 2017 and joined Perth Radiological Clinic in March. Stephen also holds consultant radiologist appointments at Fiona Stanley Hospital, Fremantle Hospital and Rockingham General Hospital. Stephen’s speciality is body imaging including prostate MRI.

Dr Ross Vander Wal

Dr Ross Vander Wal

Ross graduated with honours from the University of Western Australia in 2005. He entered the Western Australian radiology training program in 2008 and completed training in 2012. He completed two 1-year fellowships with McGill University Health Campus in Montreal, Canada; the first in Abdominal Radiology and the second in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. He returned to Perth in July 2015 where he joined Perth Radiological Clinic. He also works as a consultant radiologist at Fiona Stanley Hospital. Ross’s key speciality areas include abdominal, pelvic and vascular imaging and interventional radiology.
